José Octavio Guillén
José Octavio Guillén has led small and large Superior Courts in California and has assisted in 9 other countries with judicial reform projects. After retiring as Court Administrator from Sonoma Superior Court, he has engaged in governmental, social benefit, and business organizations in both domestic and international venues.
He began his public sector career as an entry level clerk, and over 40 years, has been promoted to various supervisory, management, and leadership positions.
Mr. Guillén applies his court administration experience, extensive consultancy, and education in public administration to the areas of change management, organizational development, creation of highly productive teams, and coaching and mentoring for continuous improvement.
He is a recognized expert in conflict resolution as well as cultural competency training for diverse workplaces. He helps individuals and organizations achieve excellence through effective communication, conflict resolution, compassionate presence, and commitment to their purpose.
